Everest Poker (www.everestpoker.com) sent three players to the European Poker Tournament event held in Dublin´s Regency Hotel October 26-29. These players earned their places at tables through Everest Poker’s EPT direct entry satellite tournaments, a fixture that the poker room has been offering to its players for more than a year. These poker satellite tournaments run for several weeks prior to each stop on the European Poker Tour and offer buy-ins as low as $5 for players.
Of particular note was the performance of Everest Poker player Julien Grosjean. In a trip that combined his first visit to Dublin with his first live poker tournament, Grosjean placed 63rd out of over 400 players. Grosjean joined Everest Poker in May of this year and is frequently joined by his brother and sister at the tables. The trio grew up playing card games such as Belotte with the family and their competitive spirit thrives in Everest Poker’s fast-paced play. Grosjean has consistently finished in the money at their online poker tournaments, including $25,000 and $50,000 guarantees. He is also qualified to compete in the upcoming $100,000 guaranteed poker tournament that will be held by Everest Poker on December 2. The $100,000 tournament will be the largest single event yet for the thriving online poker room.
In addition to dedicated satellite tournaments, Everest Poker continues to offer flexible Winner’s Choice Satellites every Wednesday at 20:00 up through December 13. The winner of each Winner’s Choice Satellite is able to choose which EPT event they would like to attend.
